EDSA Chief Technology Officer Kevin Meagher Named to GreenTech Media’s List of “100 People You Must Know in Smart Grid”

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – February 16, 2010 – EDSA (www.edsa.com), the leading developer of power analytics solutions for the design, testing, and management of complex electrical power systems, today announced that Chief Technology Officer Kevin Meagher was named to GreenTech Media’s List of “100 People You Must Know in Smart Grid.” He joins luminaries from leading corporations, research organizations, utilities, and government across North America respected for their though leadership in the smart grid arena.

In adding Mr. Meagher to the list, GreenTech wrote:

Do you think mission-critical, real-time data management and advanced power analytics software are going to be important to the smart grid? Well, if you do, it’s time to welcome EDSA to the smart grid market. These guys already provide similar solutions to everyone from VISA, eBay, BP, NASA, and Boeing to the FAA (and many other world class companies, to boot). Notably, look for EDSA to continue to provide master control and energy management systems for microgrids, as they’ve done for the University of California at San Diego. Mr. Meagher’s areas of expertise include data acquisition, data analysis, expert systems and artificial intelligence.

"We are very proud that Kevin was recognized for his smart grid leadership by a respected organization like GreenTech Media,” said Mark A. Ascolese, Chairman and CEO of EDSA. “This not only lauds Kevin personally for his technological vision and pragmatic know-how, but it certainly reflects well on the smart grid technology strategy he laid out for EDSA and our smart grid customers.”
