San Diego, CA, Feb. 7, 2012 – Power Analytics, the energy industry’s leader in advanced electrical power software solutions, has been named one of the Top 12 Companies to Watch in 2012 by Smart Grid News (SGN). The company’s selection followed a record 7,000 votes via an online poll from SGN readers and industry peers. The 12 finalists represent industry leaders in smart grid technology.

This is the third year SGN asked readers to nominate and vote for the smart grid companies they think should be on everyone’s radar in the year ahead. The publication said it had more nominations this year than the previous two years with a mix of big players, little-known startups and a handful of companies located outside the U.S.
